Extra information for users:

WXMickleton is a individually-run, hobbyist weather forecasting site for Mickleton, Gloucestershire, UK and the immediate vicitnity.
While I cannot guarantee that my forecasts will always be entirely accurate, they should be more useful to locals compared with national
forecasting sites such as BBC/ITV Weather as my forecasts are specific to the village itself and are not calculated by a computer using the broad regional forecasting average.

The terminology I use in my forecasts:
Rain/Snow - steady, continuous precipitation.
Showers - intermittent heavy downpours of precipitation, typically followed by drier conditions.

Hot - temperatures are expected to exceed 26 degrees celsius.
Very hot - temperatures are expected to exceed 32 degrees celsius.
Extremely hot - temperatures are expected to exceed 37 degrees celsius.

Cold - temperatures are not expected to exceed +5 degrees celsius.
Very cold - temperatures are not expected to exceed 0 degrees celsius.
Frigid - temperatures are not expected to exceed -5 degrees celsius.

I only issue weather advisories for severe snow, wind, thunderstorm or freezing rain events.
ALWAYS check with the official government-run Met Office weather/warnings forecast for Mickleton if severe weather is likely or if your activities are especially weather dependent.

The current temperature reading is taken by my weather station in Mickleton village center at a height of 2 metres above ground and provides a new reading every minute.
Temperatures may vary within the village itself depending on altitude, shade from the sun, proximity to conductive materials or surrounding topography.

Weather warnings are issued on the local Facebook group, Mickleton Notice Board.
The forecast last updated section tells you when I last updated the forecasts. I usually aim to update every day at around 6pm UK time.

The visible clouds report is an advanced feature that tells you about the immediate cloud coverage and precipitation in Mickleton. This feature is not always available, as it's based on observation.
x/8 tells you how much of the sky is covered by a particular type of cloud, where 8/8 would be overcast and 0/8 would be no cloud. These are known as oktas.
The visible clouds forecast is similar, but it tells you what clouds and precipitation are expected imminently.
